We monitor our phone and email in between appointments on weekdays from approximately 9am to 5pm
If you contact us during business hours, we do our best to return communication within 24 hours
Messages received on Friday may not be returned until the next business day
Please refer to the online scheduler for our most current availability
We strive to be on time for every appointment but times may fluctuate due to traffic and other extraneous factors
We are not an urgent or emergency care practice
We are closed weekends and major holidays
Additional closure dates can be found here and are subject to change
Deposits
Due to the unique nature of in-home veterinary care, we require a deposit for new client appointments and on a case-by-case basis for extensive estimates for returning clients
Deposits vary depending on the nature of the appointment and expected services (i.e. multiple pets, several vaccinations, lab work, etc)
For new clients, the deposit is required within 72 hours of receiving the appointment approval email in order to secure your appointment
Your appointment will be finalized when the deposit is received
As stated above, returning clients will be asked to leave a deposit on a case-by-case basis
Payment
Payment is due at the time of service
We provide an estimate before service is rendered
We accept cash, Zelle, ACH transfers, debit, credit (Visa or Mastercard) and CareCredit
We do not take physical checks, PayPal, Venmo, ApplePay, Discover, or American Express
Cancellations
We prefer as much notice as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule
You are entitled to a full refund of your deposit if your appointment is canceled at least 48 hours in advance
If your appointment was made or canceled less than 48 hours in advance, refund of the deposit is per our discretion
Excessive cancellations by existing clients will result in deposits being required prior to scheduling
If you are not home at the time of your appointment, your appointment will be rescheduled or canceled and your deposit is non-refundable
Pharmacy and Prescriptions
We have many prescription medications and supplements available for your pet at the time of your appointment
For other products, we trust and recommend Vetsource online pharmacy
You are entitled to written prescriptions to submit to third party pharmacies
Unfortunately we are personally unable to call in, fax, email or electronically approve prescriptions to third party pharmacies
Due to state law, dispensed medications cannot be returned for a refund
Rabies Vaccination and Vaccine Reactions
In Arizona, all dogs three months of age or older are required to be vaccinated against Rabies
We require history of Rabies vaccination for examination or we will need to administer a Rabies vaccine at your appointment (note: we offer mercury-free Rabies vaccines)
Titers are not sufficient and will not be accepted in lieu of Rabies vaccination
If your pet has a history of severe vaccine reaction, for the safety of your pet we are unable to administer vaccines
If your pet has an unexpected reaction after we vaccinate, due to the mobile nature of our practice we may not be able to return to treat your pet
